In 2011, Riviera Advisors celebrates ten solid years of success in helping organizations build and operate the best talent acquisition and staffing functions. What started as a simple idea of creating a highly specialized consulting practice to help organizations improve and optimize their own internal recruiting and staffing capabilities, is still the same ten years later. Although we have evolved to become a multi-million dollar global practice, we still remain steadfastly dedicated to our original charter. About our name and logo

Many people ask about the name "Riviera Advisors". Here is the story: when starting the business in 2001, Managing Principal, Jeremy Eskenazi attempted to think of an appropriate name for the firm. A self-styled name with "Eskenazi" in the title would be difficult for clients and prospects...not to mention too self-important. So, the name "Riviera" was identified since Jeremy was an afficianado of the classic Buick Riviera automobiles and an proud Riviera owner. In addition, the city of Long Beach, California, where the firm is based, is a beach city which has an iconic 1930's building named the "Villa Riviera". We added the word "Advisors", since that is what we do... we advise our clients and partners, not "consult TO them". The Riviera Advisors logo and original graphic imaging were designed by Greg Kupiec, then a BFA candidate at Art Center College of Design (and now, an award-winning creative director and owner of his own entertainment design firm, The Ether. The logo is actually an image of a piece of a net, representing the idea that Riviera Advisors helps organizations "cast the best net" to find and attract the best talent. The net premise also is identified with the old Chinese proverb, "if you give a man a fish, he can eat for a day...if you teach a man to fish, he can eat for a lifetime". Riviera Advisors helps organizations improve their own talent acquisition and staffing functions by advising, facilitating, and teaching them how to do it best on their own.
